Production Title: ‘The Lobster Pot’

Chef – A Michelin star chef renouned for his lobster, although he has been known to lose      his temper every now and then

Lobster – Sneaky lobster, used to be a pet belonging to Houdini.... Until he escaped.

OPENING SHOT

- Shows the outside of the restaurant and moves up to the sign showing the Chef’s face.

- Camera fades from Chef’s face to chef in the kitchen.

START

- Gets a check for ‘one Lobster’

- Goes off screen getting the lobster

- Pot view: slow motion as Chef walks past pot and lobster sees boiling water and doesn’t want to get in

- Puts Lobster next to him and starts chopping veg

- Lobster tries getting away, pulls it back

- Chef throws veg as he’s done chopping in the pot over his shoulder, then throws lobster over his shoulder too.

- Goes to check how its cooking but lobster is gone.

- Chef scans room, finds lobster puts it back in, then slides back on the lid

- Chef takes a breath, composes himself then goes to get something in the fridge doesn’t notice the lobster there.

- Chef closes the door goes to walk away but suddenly pauses and quickly opens it again to find no Lobster in sight.

- Shot of Chef’s face, as he is puzzled as to where the lobster has gone, then lobster slowly rises up behind his shoulder.

- Chef grabs lobster and holds it up to his face looking angry, but lobster snips off his mustache.

- Shot from the outside kitchen doors, sounds of chef going mental and screaming.

- See waiter looking threw the doors window as fruit and veg fly past, and the chef runs past.

- Shows Chef storming around the kitchen smashing things up with pans and swinging a French loaf.

- Chef eventually grabs lobster, throws him in the pot and sits on the lid.

- Chef’s face slowly starts to turn red and smoke appears from his bum and he jumps off yelping and hits his head on hanging pans before he then lands on an fruit on the floor and falls flat on his face.

END

- POV from chef looking up at the kitchen ceiling and see lobsters head creep over the work top edge.

- Chef jumps up, grabs the lobster, slams it on the board, and goes to his magnetic strip of knives.

- Shot of chef’s hand moving along collection of knives before grabbing a machete.

- Lobster shows ‘puppy dog eyes’

- The chef looks deep into the lobster’s eyes, puts the knife down, hand goes off camera and comes back with a mallet!

- See the chef laughing hysterically from lobsters POV before camera cuts to black and you hear a large crack and thud.

- Waiter rubs ‘lobster’ of the chalk menu board.
